Over 20 years ago, I started importing the Family Grain Mill. Over the years there have been many request for recipes and help with using fresh grain. I created a cookbook just for cooking and baking with fresh ground grains.
There are many people who e-mail me with questions and the hope is that this blog will answer the most common questions with hints, tips and recipes.
Baking with fresh ground wheat, rye, oats and other grains is nutritional, healthy and fun. There is a learning curve and I will be adding many tips, hints and recipes for delicious breads, cookies, cakes, and granola bars. Enjoy!
